Reef Factory bankruptcy

Thank you.
The devices show up on the webpage, and the schedule shows too, but it does not dose and show 0 ml’s dosed today. Tried to change the schedule a bit too, just to see if that would fix it, but still nothing. Got the Dosing Pump Pro x4.
Do you manage to make it dose anything?

Forgot to mention that manual dosing still works, but the automatic dosing/ schedule doesn’t

Anyone still able to control via the app? Reef factory app stopped working for me yesterday, looks like cloud services are off.
The app doesn’t seem to work anymore but if you go on a browser from your phone or computer you can make adjustments like normal

I also got the same dosometric, how do you use it manually? I think I cona only use it via the app

I bought a roller mat from Reef Factory about a year ago, and had some minor aesthetic issues and their customer service was really nice. It works, and it’s not dependent on a server, so that makes me happy for future use. But agreed, kinda sad about it. Hopefully someone else takes over.
We cant find replacement mat now.. where can I buy as BRS dont carry anymore

bankruptcy seems to be a common trend in this industry, vertex skimmers rip, i was looking at some reef factory gear but have never heard of the brand prior

Did they file Chapter 11 or Chapter 7? It makes a huge difference.

They are not a US company.
I didn't think about that. I am sure that other countries have more than one way to file. I don't know where they are headquartered.

I have one of their large reef rollers, and I was able to email (and talk back and forth) to someone still manning their emails. He was helpful in getting the App set up on my phone, and right now (as of 02/14/26) everything works like normal on the App. I guess the reef roller doesn't really NEED the app to run, as it has a float switch, so it'll work offline as well (I think) Also for those looking for replacement fleece rolls, just look on Ali Express or places like that, and they have the replacement sizes you need.

That is good news. I don't know anything about Poland Bankruphy. I am wondering whether they are reorganizing or planning to shut down. It makes me skeptical about buying their products.

I don't think they are restructuring, from the person that I talked to via email sounded like they are DONE DONE. He had no inventory of replacement parts, will not honor any warranty, nothing. All he said for any equipment related questions I had was SORRY, can't help.

I wonder if they will take down the reef factory app at some point. I believe this will make their stuff useless.

Does anybody know If there’s some news? It’s been a while from the date they filed bankruptcy. The servers for the app are still working but it’s becoming increasingly difficult to find out spare parts (ie. reagents for the Smart Tester). Is someone stepping in and buying the company?
People keep buying Chinese knock off stuff like I warned about. Even threads bragging about doing so

I like the looks of their stuff. I have the Medium roller; I like it, so far, no issues, I haven't needed any replacement rolls as I had a few on hand. At some point, the App will go dead. I have been told that Precision Converting will provide replacement rolls upon request.

Hey, what email did you use to talk to Reef Factory? I tried all their contact info, and didn't get anywhere. The page is not available. 404. Another said it wasn't an authorized chat. and so on.

I have just changed my wifi provider, getting my ReefFactory doser back online was problematic to say the least, to be fair I could say the same for the Red sea doser and my Sicce return pump. However they are all back online again now. The easiest item to change was the Neptune Apex which was seemless.

All my reef kit (apart from the Apex) was offline for a couple of days and I was hoping that every thing would plod on even though it was not connected, thankfully it looked like everything did.

The only thing that worries me about the reeffactory doser is, what happens if/when they switch the server off in Poland?

I moved and now have a different Wi-Fi provider. I can't connect. I tried a factory reset, but I lost the magnet that came with it. I used a different magnet I had on hand; it makes the light flash faster, so I think it is doing something, but I still can't connect, and I can't get in touch with anyone. If you or anyone has any suggestions or ideas, I would appreciate them.
