Reef inspired tattoos

Funny this should come up. I've been out of reefkeeping about 4 years and just bought a 150 gallon setup. I was just thinking of getting a tattoo of something reef related. It's the one thing I keep coming back to.

I think a good front tank shot wrapped around my thigh would be pretty awesome.

Also since we're on the subject of tattoos, when I was in Bangkok Thailand, I got a bamboo style tattoo.

It took 3.5 hours. I didn't hurt at all. It doesn't rip the skin like a traditional machine tattoo. In fact I fell asleep for a bit. Haha. Healing time is much quicker as well.

I was wondering about this as well. Maybe I should look into this for my cover up because the foot freaking hurts! Another reason I've been putting it off so long. Too bad this method is not very common in the states. That tat is great and a wonderful way to remember a trip:)

That's quite interesting! I wouldn't have guessed the would be the case... Looks like I found an idea for my next tattoo. Lol

After watching the 25th Hour last night I want to get a tattoo on my hand that says "survive" haha it was a rather bizarre Edward Norton film but I enjoyed it...

Your reef tattoo is INCREDIBLE!!! Your artist is very gifted. If you don't mind me asking, who was your artist? If you'd rather not say whom, no worries. ;)

I don't mind saying. His name is London Reese works out of Vatican studios here in southern california.
