Reef Life Aquariums is a GREAT new store that has opened in the Birmingham area (GreyStone area off of 280) and is definitely worth checking out!! The owners, Luke and Michael, are great guys and willing to work with any needs you could have as a customer. I have been going there consistently and everything that I receive from there has been in tip top shape. They have the best overall selection of fish, coral, and dry goods in the area and I would recommend shopping there before anywhere else for your salt water aquarium. I have had nothing but good experiences every time that I go into the store and I just wanted to get my word out there to help out anyone else in need of a great fish store!! I really feel like the Birmingham area has been slacking in the marine world and I am glad we finally got a great one that will have what you want and if they don't they will order it right away for you....and actually GET IT!!! Just a great place, owned by a great group of guys......CHECK THIS STORE OUT!!

Place is to close to my house lol. I went to Petco yesterday (GF was looking for freshwater fish) and noticed this guy looking at the saltwater fish. When the employee moved off a little I explained he should really check out reef life. He was excited and left. After a little more walking around another guy stopped me and was asking about that place i told that guy about. So yesterday I got them 2 sales....... And then they got me today lol.
The only complaint I "could" have is the selection. Dry goods and livestock. But as time goes on im sure they will have. Sure space is also their problem. He was telling me that his rent there was pretty cheap for what he has.

I've been the 3 times in the last 2 weeks. Luke and mike are super nice. Place is nice too but hard as hell to find the first time. Lol.

What now makes the trip better is luke knowing my name lol. You know ur a frequent customer/geat customer service when he knows ur name. Saw the $17 challice there. He was also telling me he has a new shipment sitting at the airport. If you have a chance go in there and try to buy his magnificent anemone. He was talking it up and telling me he won't sell it, but then he changed his mind lol
