This is my review of using Reef Lounge USA for the first time ,, a R2R sponsor ,, I bought three Chalices from them ,, they don't have a WYSIWYG section yet ,, this kinda concerned me as one of the chalices I was buying was a Stained Glass Chalice ,, jmo but if your not buying a frag of this type of Chalice with all the colors in it ,, why bother. I just don't see very many frags of this Chalice for sale ,, none really ,, I was going to take a chance and buy a non WYSIWYG frag ,, something I would normally never ,, ever ,, do. I was also buying another Chalice from them where frag selection, because of the colors in it ,,, was a concern ,, not as big a concern as the Stained Glass Chalice though ,,, the third chalice ,, was a Red Convict Chalice ,, no big deal here ,, a frag is a frag :)

I place the order late one evening ,, the next day ,, I get a E-mail from the company about my order ,, that's normal ,, I was just hoping it wasn't also saying they were out of the Stained Glass Chalice or that something else was going to be wrong with me getting a frag of this Chalice ,, I really wanted this frag :) its not a bright Rainbowish colored Chalice ,, but it is a odd Chalice ,, I want it :)

The E-mail told me that they are a new company ,, that they are in the process of hiring more help for the online part of their business ,, that they aren't staffed yet to be able to take WYSIWYG pictures of their corals and get them posted online as such. The E-mail also did one other thing ,, I would have wrote this review no matter what ,, what this company did next in this E-mail ,, made me want to write a review for sure ,,,

They sent me pictures of all the Stained Glass Chalice frags they had in stock ,, they also sent me pictures of all the frags of the second Chalice I was buying where color selection in the frag was a concern ,, Reef Lounge USA asked me to pick the two Chalice Frags that I wanted them to send me ,,,

Name me another coral company in our hobby that would have done this ,, not saying there are none that wouldn't have done this ,, had I asked them to ,, I didn't ask Reef Lounge USA to do this ,, I really wouldn't even thought to have asked them to do this ,, they did it all on their own ,, form now on ,, I am looking for a coral to buy ,, they are now one of my go to companies ,,,

Curious. I'm happy you got taken care of so well. Superior customer service is hard to come by these days.

However, looking at their sponsor forum, it looks like they have been a sponsor here since November of 2013, I'm not sure that qualifies them as a "new company".

How were your corals once you received them? I bought one coral and BTA from them. First they told me the coral was not available, days later. Now they have told me the BTA I bought was sold by the boss and would I like a different one. Not a good first impression.

honestly i wasn’t impressed With my corals
Both my blue gold torch and frogspawn came in rough shape literally all I seen was skeletons the torch didn’t survive and frogspawn is slowing making a comeback but that’s the risk you take with online corals... so it is what it is

the packing was impressive though 3/4 thick foam lined the box and a cool pack double bagged

Found this thread while researching Reef Lounge USA stories. I ordered a Rasta torch in September, the shipping was prompt and torch well packaged. Unfortunately, it's not a Rasta and just a green tip torch. When I reached out to RL they said they were sold to them as Rastas. I didn't think that was a great response, as I spent over $300 on the torch. After 12 years of reefing I decided to try online buying because the LFS coral supply was weak. Just saying be careful and ask questions.
