yesWhat is the difference between ICP ICP-MS and the Oceamo ICP-MS test? Does one cover more elements? There’s not much description in either.

Gotcha, so the gist I got was to put 0 in for the daily elements and start with what the calculator says as it will more than likely be the same after my ICP results come back?yes. get onto the facebook page, it's mentioned numerous times there.
Well, I quoted directly from the dsr web site that they test and dose 12 elements.DSR dose only follwing nothing else:
Calcium Magnesium Potassium
Strontium Boron
Iodide Manganese
Iron
they not dose:
Cobalt Chromium
Vanadium
Bromine
Fluoride Barium Molybdenum Nickel Zinc Tin rubidium selen cupper lithium
That is what is listed in their product, you can ask Glenn for more detail here or on Facebook he answers fastWell, I quoted directly from the dsr web site that they test and dose 12 elements.
Either you or their web site are wrong.
I also have just started the program. Not seeing any changes yet but it’s only been a couple weeks. Sending my second test out next week.Just sent in my second test! Loving the program. My acros are coloring up wonderfully. Zoas are slowly starting to show some growth. Been dosing nitrate and phos to keep in range. Now battling some hair algae. Tank is still fairly new so I’m not worried about it. Can’t wait to see what this next test comes in at. Still wondering what the acro is on the front of the test kit.

If i am correct Triton are pretty much the same, i did the calculations years ago and have used Triton when it was cheaper for me, ATI was super weak compared to Moonshiners for everything i calculatedI am starting out on the RM method. I have left over bottles of triton fluorine, ati Mn, ATI V and ATI Brom
Are the concentrations and dosing amounts similar to using the RM elements? Would prefer not to buy elements I already have. Thanks for your thoughts
Good info, thanks. Going to take a look at comparision calculations as well.If i am correct Triton are pretty much the same, i did the calculations years ago and have used Triton when it was cheaper for me, ATI was super weak compared to Moonshiners for everything i calculated
V I know is the same or similar ball park. Not sure about the rest.Good info, thanks. Going to take a look at comparision calculations as well.
It's easier just to do a 10% water change every 3 months or so. Everyone tries to make this hobby so hard.I did a search in the forums and ran across a few threads where it is mentioned, but no real discussion. So who all is using the reef moonshiners program/dosing elements on their tanks? Who is having success with it? I'd love to discuss this further as it has me a little intrigued.
Brought this one back from the dead huh??It's easier just to do a 10% water change every 3 months or so. Everyone tries to make this hobby so hard.
Ya, I saw the whole thing and my pragmatism got the best of me. Pretty simple to just replace 10% with new sea water with all the good stuff. It's a personal preference, Im sure.Brought this one back from the dead huh??
I did end up going to the reef moonshiner method. Easier/harder is debatable, but results are not. If you want to up your reef keeping abilities, moonshiner method is a great way to run a successful tank. Of course there are other ways. Life changes forced me out of the hobby temporarily, but I should be back in the game in another 2 yrs or so and I'll be running the moonshiner method once again.

I’m looking to switch to diy part a for calcium and magnesium. My question is: Can I add strontium chloride to it to get all 3 dosed like in my sea hen reef complete? If so, which type and how much? Thx.
