Hello,

I have a reef octopus 250INT skimmer. A few months ago, the pump was buzzing/humming loudly, albeit still working properly.

I took it apart and put it back together, and the noise stopped.

It’s been working good until this morning; it’s buzzing loudly. It’s a very noticeable buzzing/humming sound.

Does anyone have any ideas on what I should do?

did you try cleaning it when you took it apart/put back together? i've found a similar issue, but with my sicce syncra silent 3.0 return pump. once i hear it buzz/hum loudly, i take it out to clean and it stops.
