Not with the rxact parts i have.
That would be great!

Do i need the DAC i got too?
Try the pwm route first. If that doesn't work, we can try the DAC route

Can you measure the 0-10v analog with a DMM?

On the circuit to convert the 0-5v to 0-10 will it mess up the power supply since they are making 10 volts also?
Convert the 5 to 10 v outside power circuit, on reef pi circuit

You can measure, but you can't distinguish if its pwm or analog. Pwm output will read 0-10v as well. You need oscilloscope to distinguish

Should not. Connect the grounds together, choose the right transistor, and review the circuit multiple time.even if things go south, you are dealing with 10v DC, with 1amp, its unlikely you will incur any damage other than screwing couple of transistors.

Gotcha!

Do i need this setup for each light or can i run all three lights thru one circuit.
One for the whites and one for the blue but for three lights?

Heres the 0-10v circuit.

Getting ready to test it to see what i get. Wish me luck!

It works!

But i got a 0-10volt but when i select 100 percent on the window its actually 0.
When i select 0 percent in reefpi its actually 10 volts.

Where did i go wrong lol everything is reverse?

Expected. Because you are using n channel mosfet and thats how the circuit works,,, the gate voltage in our circuit control the amount of voltage that is being drained (to GND) ., so higher pwm leads to higher draining and lower output, lower pwm leads to lower drain and higher output. I learned this recently and already added an `reverse` option in the led code that will address this in software. Give me some time and you will be able to use reef-pi intuitively with these circuits

Gotcha!

So when i hook up this circuit to one light the light does wierd stuff.

I can move the slider and its not smooth. It flickers and makes wierd noises. Also the fan stops and starts (it might be normal). But the noises i dont think are.

Also where can i change the equipment tab layout? Like it shows white blue the ln intensity

Water is COLD!!! Of course my daughter had to get in!

I am not sure about survive ability.

Thought I'd share my day with you cool people!

Great progress Brad!

You had better put away that phone before you get the evil eye. Thanks for sharing. .Glad you are on the Oregon Coast and not the Texas coast..

Happy for you Brad..please draw a wiring diagram with a list of components... for some reason I don't remember dacs on the list.

For what ? If the pwm circuit is working, you don't need the DAC
