4 years in? I think. But I'm seeing so many opinions on coral food theories. Reef roids, benepets, phyto, ab+, or just leftover mysis food? I've been doing benepets twice a week with all4reef twice a week on opposite days. But I just see So many articles and opinions on what people feed their corals. I have a WaterBox x90 and am trying to read between the lines. I have mostly softies. 1 Duncan. (Like 15 heads!) And zoas. So... what do you feed ur reef and why? Links? Thanks!

I go against the grain here. I feed my fish and they feed my corals. Mostly just with fish poop, but my clowns actually give food to my elegance corals. I haven’t fed corals in over 20 years.

I've noticed that my zoas' new heads started developing more after dosing AB+ (as an experiment) a few times, but I don't really know if it's because of the AB+ itself. I only dose 1-2× a week, more than that I get a hair algae outbreak.

lol, 18 years in and i still go back and forth with dosing, right now it is coralaminos , reef chilli, and easy reefs phyto. I have seen tank improvement with aminos and phyto but less so with freeze dried zooplankton, but my twinspot goby likes it

After years of feeding my corals sporadically I got serious after seeing a friend's tank transformed by feeding Benereef. I've had the same results, amazing growth, color pop, and polyp extention. Another huge bonus is in cleaning my glass less often and the all around cleaner looking tank.

Quite the opposite of when I went on a Reef Roids kick years back. The PO4 bump had me cleaning the glass (and everything else) about hourly! LOL!!!

Benereef is good stuff, but I still use it more for a target feeding thing. Do you broadcast and not have nutrient increases? AB+ is about all I broadcast.

Set it and forget it: Do you change your aquascape as your corals grow?
