temperature control is a real issue in the PNW micro reefs, they simply run to ambient room temperature. mark was missed there.

my local pet store keeps one on the counter with thor shrimp and GSP and the corals stay closed up because the system runs at 90 in the summer and super cold in the winter, they needed to access/invent a micro thermostat controlled heater to legitimize those micro tanks. no hate for their design and looks though: they have a working micro sump that does not clog over the long haul. the heater is what they were missing, that and a fitted lid/fan setup accessory option for summertimes.

if someone has a room that stays at 78-80 degrees year round the system will run seamlessly.
