Is it possible to build a reef wall in the back of a tank, and how would you do it?

Here is a tank my dad did. He took aquarium safe silicon and siliconed all the rocks to the back wall. Made for an interesting aquascape, but a bit of a pain to keep clean. Also made the tank very heavy!

PVC frame with eggcrate zip tied to it. Marco cement rubble/gravel to it. I did that to one side of my tank.
I started making walls similarly when I had something tall and vertical I had to hide.

Here I had to hide where a tank was inexplicably made to wrap around a support. It created an ugly black box on one end of what was essentially a peninsula tank.

Made 3 of these:

Then cemented them onto the tank:

weird question but your tank looks tall. my tank is 4ft tall and im looking for reef lights, any suggestions?
