Reef without cool white?

I have a hydra 52 and I'm not a fan of the white light. How will it effect coral growth and color if I don't use the cool white?

All depends on what coral your keeping. Softies like a bit of the white light, LPS and SPS can get away with just blues and the reds.

I've grown SPS frags using only 450nm Royal Blue.

Below 30 feet this is a dominant wavelength.

Reds are gone after 10 feet of depth.
