So you may or may not have noticed but R2R was down for around 4 hrs which was probably the longest in our history.
We pride ourselves in offering the best of service to our community when it comes to reliability, speed and security. I sound like a cable network! So all of those came into play today. R2R now runs on a total of 3 dedicated servers for speed and for our new market. Today our host was installing a new backup solution on one of these servers and accidentally deleted a file that connects the web server to the database server. They didn't realize they had done this but at that exact moment R2R lost the ability to talk to the database and that's why your screen would just load and load and load and never populate. Long story short we (the R2R team) was able to locate the log where they had made the mistake. It was then quickly fixed and the site was restored after the issue was found.
Thanks for your patience.
