I’m trying to nearly last minute switch over to the newer app before they shut down reef nexus. I’m having difficulty finding the new Reefbreeders network. It only shows the old one and my WiFi won’t prompt me for the new one. Anyone have tips?

It is not intuitive (to me), but you have to go in to your phones settings->wifi to choose the wifi network the light is advertising to move forward with the set up. It is not in the app.
Thank you for responding. The network it ask to connect to isn’t actually available, it only shows the original network that the reef nexus app uses

The network name shouldnt change from what you had previously as it's unique to the device from my understanding.

Is the light flashing blue when you try to set it up now?

It’s flashing blue and I can’t get it to stop flashing. I went and deleted reef nexus thinking that maybe it was causing it to have troubles connecting to new app

When you go back into the app and then try to add. When you get to the page you screenshot do you see your old network now when you go to settings as mentioned above? Once to choose that and join it to wifi the device should go green.

I'd delete both apps, and just start fresh with the reefbreeder app like it is a new setup.

I'd also do this with the light:

To factory reset a ReefBreeders light, find the reset button inside the endcap and hold it for about 8 seconds until the light cycles through all 6 color channels, then turns to a slowly blinking blue

I think this thread has your cert error explained. Sounds like it requires a new board and the company has heavily discounted it.
