Reefbreeders did not bring anything to market. They rebranded “cheap Chinese crap” known as EverGrow. Don’t get it mixed up thinking they did any R&D in developing their original light.

There were dozens of LEDs on market by the time they came around. Many are not around today and some switched all their offerings to a “budding” industry instead

Outside of the Meridian, I don’t recall a single RB item that isn’t just rebranded Fish Street stuff

They did replace LEDs to customize the spectrum/layout, and brought them to market offering US distribution, warranty and support.

The meridian / edge bar system is a 100% original design, developed and brought from concept to reality by RB

But they did not design or develop their first light. That was my point and I was refuting the claim made by that poster that you even backed up. It isn’t 100% true at all

UPDATE: I went onto the site and I ordered the new wireless board at full price (even though I already have a V2 Pro. They refunded the majority of the money yesterday and only charged me $30 for the board and are shipping it out 2-day.

I unplugged my light and plugged it back in after the reset and it seems to have returned to a program and is not on full blast anymore. That should be find until I get it all set up again.

The context is RB has always sold great performing lights at prices less than the main brands, and over time the product improved, and now is on its best version, which is a completely original design, and still is cutting edge

It's common, you see it all the time folks become very loyal to companies to the point they almost work for them for free. Kind of like those folks who are exclusive to one brand of car make but this is a smaller scale.

Reef Breeders responded a couple times but someone else defended them through and through for free. Maybe those folks should be compensated.

I would stand up for any one I felt was wrongfully dragged down, it’s a personality trait of mine.

Not necessarily. I am genuinely curious as to who is at fault. I don’t have an opinion either way as I see both sides.

I am failing to see what's at question if you read or reviewed each post. RB is a stand up company, the original poster appears to have sought and found resolution.
Some aspects or communications between parties were misinterpreted.
End of drama and everyone lived happily ever after.
