I am going to be geting a 48" ReefBrite (all blue) sometime in the near future and I was wondering if I should get the regular version (at $235) or the XHO version (at $350). Is the XHO worth the extra $$$?

I will be adding it to my 6 bulb Tek T5 light which is hung over my 150g tank. Tank is a new setup, but will be mostly sps with zoas and acans. Here's a recent picture of the tank with the T5s. The photo shows it more blue than it really is.

Personally I think the xho version is worth it. Noticeable difference between the two - running with a 6 bulb ATI ..... only the xho makes a real difference while all the bulbs are running. I've only had the 50/50 running with the ATI however so can't say for sure with the all blue. Ran the all blue with 3 150w halides and actinic pc's ..... could see the difference there also for what it's worth.

the tech well not be very noticeable when you main light is on
if your looking for added color while the main light is on as well I would go with the xho.
the xho is worth the extra money

I had a buddy that had both reg and xho on 2 different tanks. The xho were considerably brighter. He grew Sps under the xho and Lps and zoas under the regular units.

XHO all the way! I have two of the regular 48" all blues on a 4x54 Powermodule. It adds nice color, but no shimmer because even four T5s wash it out. I'm also limited to using one aquablue bulb because I don't get a whole lot of blue outta the LEDs. You will get some shimmer with the XHOs and can use fewer blue+ T5 bulbs if the color temperature is too blue for your liking.
