Hello Everyone,

I just got a Reefdose 2. The right head is making a clicking noise whenever it is dosing. The left head works just fine. I di notice a little bit of play on the right head compared to the left head but not anything significant. I made sure it was seated correctly. Is there anyway to fix this?

Please see video below:

Thank you

Hi Everyone,

Wanted to post an update. I searched online and could not find a similar issue for the Reefdose.

I was able to find similar issues for the Neptune DOS. One user recommended lubricating the hose and where the plastic doser meets the housing.

I bought some food grade silicone grease like the one they use for scuba gear gaskets. Greased up the wheel and where the plastic doser clips/makes contact with the housing. This solved the problem for me.

You sure it's not a mantis shrimp hiding in there?
