Hi All,

I've recently purchased a used Red Sea Reefer 250 (the V2 version) and need to order some new cabinet hinges as the current ones are very rusty and have become non-functional.

However, I'm struggling to locate relevant part numbers....

I've come across some stock of the following part number so far: R40383
This reports to be: Red Sea Max-S Aquarium Hinges S6

Unfortunately, I cannot locate any other hinges for sale, and can't seem to work out whether the above will fir my Reefer 250? As far as I can gather, there shouldn't really by any difference in the hinges used between the vast majority of the Reefer tanks?

I appreciate any help anyone can offer!

Contact red sea directly. They have been very helpful in the past. Email was the best way to contact them for me.

Go to the main website for contact info...

When I replaced my Hinges, I put about 10 coats of Automotive Clear Lacquer on them. It didn’t stop the Rust, but Greatly slowed it down.
