I think I have a bad ph probe. They seem hard to come by on line. I want to order a decent one. My question is can I only use standard issue DA probe or will another brand work ?

You did not mention which reefkeeper you have but I have used a Pinpoint and a generic probe from Bulk Reef Supply on my RKE without any issues.

I went with the BRS lab grade Ph probe on my Reefkeeper. Any standard Ph probe will work

Thanks for all the feedback! I have the rke elite. I bought it used but he shipped it with the original cap and water I went to calibrate it last night and it was bouncing around a lot between about 10 it wouldn't find a set number like my previous ReefKeeper so I was thinking I either have some bad fluid or pH probe figured I would just order both to be on the safe side

Try just leaving it in each cal solution over 10 minutes before you continue to the next step.

Don't worry about the raw data changing just leave it for over 10 minutes. The raw data will never settle completly.
