I'm having communication failure with reeftronics I think because of my host name No-ip.com updating. I didn't know the free service had to be updated once a month. After first time I set reminder to update it monthly and did just that last night and now today I have a text reeftronics unable to communicate with server.
I really don't want to pay yearly fee to use No-Ip but may have to
If this keeps happening. Anyone know why this happened even when I did update with them before it expired? Thanks, Eric

I'm having the same issue ( losing connection) I'm on time warner and I'm not using a DNS service judt in but reeftronics connection has been lost three times since yesterday. No change in ip,
I go to apexfusion check and it's connected, I go back to reeftronics and I'm connected I don't know

That's really weird especially since you don't have to use DNS. I'm barely above water with the apex as it is with my VERY limited tech skills LOL. Don't know why it all has to be so hard but when it works it's the best

Yep I agree with you and I'm a retired computer consultant. I wasn't good at programming but setup repair, and installing software never good get my head around ip addresses very well
