hi i got sponge like taking over my live rock in sump/refguim is this good our bad oh and on my glass as shown in image its white?

Sponges filter water, most (all that I've read) references suggest they are good for the system. Some people promote their growth.
I clean them from my sump

so just scrap off most of the sponge with my toothbrush? or should i just let it be

i took some in to my local fish store and they said it kinda looks like sponge but then again it looks webby. and my chatos has gotten smaller??

Up to you. I syphon it out with a hose, but I clean my entire sump.
I have had other tanks where I don't, either way I don't feel it should be an issue.

If it was to die in the tank, it may add to the bio load.
It is posible its a bacteria, but it looks like sponge to me.

and whats yalls best way to get your daily dosages for alk mag and cal? was told to bring levels where i want them then wait a week then test and divide what i used by 7?

My tank would be dead if I stopped dosing for 2 days, let alone a week :)
Your consumption is likely to change with time, I make adjustments every few weeks, as coral mass increases, so does consumption
