Refrigerated phyto is it dead?

I'm dabbing into culturing Phytoplankton, if i put this live phyto in bottles and refrigerate does it become dead phyto?

Does this look ready? I started last friday so it's been full 4 days right now.

Cat says yep, it is ready.
You can certainly use it as it looks pretty good. Maybe a day will not hurt to get it really dense. I would take out half and add water back in with some food and let it grow again.

Not dead, but make sure you shake it pretty often. Daily is nice, but at least once a week. I've gone longer without shaking and it was still alive, used it to start my current grow, but shaking it is best.
