Refugium lighting for 40 gallon breeder

Starting a 40 gallon stand alone Refugium .Can I use my old DIY leds that I used to light my main tank. Had three on my 150 gallon tank.

There are plenty cheap growout light which will likeley be the cheaper option.

I just switched my 40breeder over to these florowings today, they are grow lights from a hydroponics store 125w should grow cheato and other cool macro’s, anemones, corals, etc no problem.
