Refugium lighting question

Have you guys ever heard of any LED lights killing all the copepods in your refugium I've seen a few Amazon cheaper lights that are LEDs that a few people have said they almost are like UV sterilizers kill every organism in the refugium

I've never heard of that either. I use one similar to that and have plenty of pods and chaeto grows like crazy.
