Hi, I currently have a 10g reef tank which will be upgraded to a 50g cube with sump in a few weeks. I'll be posting as the tank comes together but for now just putting the pieces together. My question is will a Hagen Fluval Plant Bluetooth Nano LED be sufficient for my refugium (7500K and 15W)? The light is leftover from a fresh water tank where it did a great job growing plants. First time setting up a refugium and would like to get it right.

IMHO it will probably work OK, especially if it grew plants in your old freshwater tank.

I'd try it and if it doesn't do the job you want, you can always buy new.

Agree with @Ron Reefman with a tank that size it sounds like it'll do the job :)

Should be fine, I’m using a cheap led off a 4 gallon AIO on my refugium and it’s doing ok, I do leave it on 24x7 because of the low output and have to harvest about once a month on my LN tank.

I'm going to agree with everyone else because they really know what they're talking about, but mostly just so I can say Hi. Welcome to R2R!

P.S. I really do think that light will work for you.
