About 5 months ago I set up a new 300 gallon. It's 7 feet long.
The first two fish that I introduced were a new Tomini Tang and a Spotted Bristle tooth tang together. They're approximately the same size.
I did this understanding that the same two type of tangs could be aggressive towards each other, but I really wanted both of these fish and the guy at the store said to go for it and introduce them together. My mistake.
Things were okay for a day or two, but then the Tomini got really aggressive towards the Spotted one. So aggressive that he eventually damaged her swim bladder and she couldn't swim anymore.
With some care, we were able to nurse her back to health in the sump. She made a full recovery.
Meanwhile the Tomini remained aggressive to several newcomers and it was time for him to get caught and removed.
About 1 month+ ago, we moved the spotted tang back to the display and removed the Tomini to "time out" in the sump.
Tangs now in the tank include Large Blue Hippo Tang, Yellow Tang, and The Spotted Bristletooth Tang.

So here's my question... Is there a world and technique where this Tomini Tang can be reintroduced to the tank and everyone lives in Harmony? Or should I rehome him?
I have a 30 inch long, 35 gallon reef I just set up, which I was planning to put him in. But the more I think about it, that seems cruel long term.
Thanks!
