Renton's Evolution from 200 to 440 gallons

Ur reef is amazing never let someone try and call u out on whats urs

This is definitely one of my favorite tanks! :)

Thanks guys. I will admit it is a packed reef tank and if I were allowed to setup another tank/frag tank this tank would be a bit more open. However, given my current constraints I am very happy with my reef tank :)

Quick video of the orange spot filefish picking at leftover nori. For those keeping score at home, I have had the male since 10/13/2012 and the female since 5/30/2013.

Do you have any issues with your CBB nipping at corals? Those filefish are amazing, ive always wanted a pair but i wouldnt want to get them whithout having colonies. Lots ofcolonies for them to nip at and not worry about them killing a frag at a time. lol

WOW! Great video and picture updates! Love the Orange Spotted filefish and the M. bipartitus and your corals aren't too shabby either...

Seriously, you have a beautiful mixed reef which is no small feat, but quite IMPRESSIVE with the pair of healthy Orange Spots you are keeping!

Thanks! I have been an longtime silent admirer of your tank and am super jealous of anyone with a remote filtration/fish room :) .

With the orange spots I have been very lucky in being able to get them to accept the tiny Sustainable Aquatics Dry Hatchery Pellets, while I feed a lot of frozen food that they eat as well, I feel the pellets are a big key to their health.

Added a couple new mushrooms yesterday to my budding mushroom collection

A few new corals from the C-SEA/Tidal Gardens Picnic

acan echinata

I liked the texture on this mushroom

A poke-a-dot mushroom that I have contained until it attaches to the frag plug

Renton. Awesome tank man. Made it through about 7 pages late last night. You may have covered this, sorry if I missed it. Looks like a very high flow tank? Do you know about how much gph you have moving through it? As in combined flow of all your pumps?
