Request Algae ID (Bryopsis?)

Request an ID of algae. I cannot determine if it is Bryopsis and would like to make sure before I try any treatment. I have manually removed a significant portion of this but expect it to return soon enough. Thank you for the help.

Looks like an infestation of hydroids to me, let others chime in though, I'm not too good with pics

Thanks. SOrry about the pics- the colors are way off. Any second opinions?

A calurpa.
The ends are likely the fronds from it going sexual.
Hydroids will retract.

Thanks, which is unfortunate since manual removal looks like the best way to take care of calurpas. This stuff is really stuck to the rocks.
