How do you install a resivor on a rodi system? And is it a good idea.
I want to use culligan resivorYou need a container of whatever volume you want and a float valve. Also a good idea to add a drain line on the reservoir about 1” higher than the float valve just in case the valve fails.
Thanks for the help. Those tanks have bladders in them that don't always last long. If you want to use that, then a T between the outlet of your RODI unit and the shut-off valve will work - big box hardware store should have all that you need for this. Those are more sized for drinking water than for reef tanks... like maybe 2 gallons. Automatic shut off for your RODI is a good idea if you are going to keep a tank online and the unit available all of the time.
I also use a Brute up high with a float valve. On the bottom is a 1" bulkead with a ball valve to gravity feed into buckets or whatever. I also have PanWorld pump plumbed in to pump water 100' to my auto top off reservoir across the house that I can use with another ball valve.
How big is your tank? Most people go with at least 10 gallon if not 30-50. That will work but from memory those pressure vessels are only like 2.5gI want to use culligan resivor
What's the goal of using something this small,,, space issue?I want to use this if possible.
