I go through stages. Sometimes I love my tank (most of the time) but other times I have this incredible urge to buy a new fish, or new equipment, or new coral, or even a new tank. I need none of these things.

I’m sure I’m not alone in this. What do you folks do to satisfy your desire to buy stuff when you don’t need it? Money, of course, but what else?

Earlier this year I started wood turning, so if my allowance does not go in the fish tank it is for some wood or a tool for the lathe.

I usually buy more tanks lol. But being as we are moving and condensing down tanks to larger tanks, but less tanks lol. I have decided that I cannot do that now, as the whole moving part puts a kink in that lol. So to feed the urge, I have been helping others with their tanks, setting up tanks for others, and taking old tanks I have laying around and making them into sumps or complete setups. Hope to sell them, to new comers to the hobby locally for a decent price and they will have everything they need to get up and going. At least in doing that, I am still messing with tanks and good ole saltwater.

Recently, I took down my Biocube and 60 cube and replaced them with a 90. The Biocube is sitting behind me, empty, waiting for a buyer. I’ve been considering setting it back up but hubby would kill me. Seriously... if I set up I’d be in serious do-do. So.... it sits. Frustrating, to say the least!
