Return pump placement

Hello! I was wondering if anyone had ideas where I should put my return pump from the canister filter? I want to make sure it’s still giving me good oxygen but also It’s currently pointing right on top of the rocks and I want to make sure future corals don’t get blasted with flow. Thanks!

I'd place it in the corner like you have it and point it towards the front glass, turned slightly towards the center, so it's not hitting the rocks with direct flow.

nope, I don't think it will mess up your flow. If anything, it will create more intersecting, chaotic, indirect flow, which corals love.

I once used one for filtration. Lots of production from it. But the upkeep was a lot. Thought about using one as a cryptic sump, but never pulled the trigger.
So my question is what do you plan on putting in the filter? Live rocks? Filter pads? Macro algae?

right now it’s just filter pads but i’m hopefully going to make a sump soon to hide all of that stuff
