Howdy everyone. I'm curing my rock and a few weeks away from getting water in my tank. One of the upgrades I did for my Innovative Marine SR-60 was to buy two Sicce 2.0 pumps to replace the stock Innovative Marine returns.
BUT, the stock pump barbs and tubes appear to be 1/2" ID whereas the Sicce outlet barb looks like 3/4" ID. All of the soft tubing plus the bulkhead appears to be sized for 1/2" tubing.
My question is whether I should buy a fitting to bring the Sicce outlet down to 1/2" to match the factory tubing OR whether I should drill the bulkhead and buy new tubing to match the Sicce's output. I've never drilled acryllic and don't have the tools for that, so I would need to either find someone to help or do some more research on how to do that.
