New plumbing, it’s supposed to be a 3/4” hose but the 3/4” barb I got even after boiling water is incredibly difficult - you can see what it looked like on the barb that came with the system (they only had one barb and then a 1/2” valley - the fitting I got has 4 barbs and short valleys, I got it to the 3rd barb lip).
This is a reducer barb, so it’s 1” slip to 3/4” for my return pump going into the I thought 3/4” return line.
But idk, do I trust it? Is it too big and I’ll crack the hose at some point and cause a floor like wha TSA everyone’s thoughts here.
