Well I have been out of the hobby for quite sometime. I had 170 gallons worth of display and another 50g frag system set up and lost everything due to power loss. But you can never loose the passion for this so after 5 years I’m going to build a 40 breeder. AI Hydra 52 x2 for lighting, CPR Aquafuge 2 medium for filtration, minimalistic rock work and going to focus on softies and some LPS.

Wow want to come build me a stand? Very nice! I got back into the hobby after a few years off and started with a 40 breeder. I got the cheap petco stand and equipment just kept getting added. The wife had enough of the cord mess and I ended up with a Waterbox 130.4 lol. Alls well that ends well.

Welcome to R2R! I am working on a 40/20 too. I plan to have the same thing with softies and LPS. What other equipment are you purchasing?
Other than the aquafuge hob refugium nothing. We currently are currently living in a small apartment so the wife told me I can’t get carried away....lol. I have never run without a skimmer so we will see how my testing goes. Top off is going to be manual .

So the wife and I watched a couple videos and grabbed our rubble rock pail from storage, some thick super glue and a couple cocktails and wound up with a little rock work. BRS delivered the fuge, heater, salt and mortar today so we had at it.

That looks good. I hope I can do a good job with mine.
