Hey all! I have 3 RFA in my 90g and 2 are doing totally fine. One however about a week and a half ago detached from where it was staying, and no matter where it drifted or moved to, it didn't put its foot back down. I did find it one morning on the intake area of my nero 7, but it didn't appear to be damaged or leaking any fluid/toxins (Some of the tentacles looked a little short but wasn't sure if that was chopped or retracted...)

Anyways, I finally put it in a breeder box with some rubble rock, and instead of moving towards any of it it was just kind of free floating in the corner. Today I checked in on it and the yellow on the oral disk is mostly on the outside rim now where it used to be the entire oral disc and the tentacles are really retracted. Mouth doesn't look to be gaping TOO badly, but the coloration and the lack of attachment or movement is making me think it's maybe a lost cause. And then this morning it looks like part of it is kind of leeching fish flesh into the water. Is this a lost cause? Am I mis-diagnosing what's wrong? Photos in next post. Thanks!

Most likely going to melt away. Its weird, I have some that flourish and some that just melt away a few weeks after introducing.

I got 5 a few months ago, and only one survived :(

Considering my tank seems to be thriving I don't have much of an explanation... In talking with someone though it seems that it may be where they are being sourced from, some places are hardier than others.

I'm not entirely sure. I kept mine in until I knew it was truly melting. My CUC was all over it. I have a 80g so it didnt do anything to the tank
yeah this is in a 90. I have it in a breeder box with the top off though because I don't want it drifting around and stinging things.
