I suck. I was moving a rock and had no clue that my BTA was attacked to both that rock and another and I tore the foot. A small piece is basically still stuck to one and the rest is stuck on the main rock. But there’s a huge gash. I did it about 30 min ago and it doesn’t look terrible. It’s open, mouth closed, you wouldn’t know it was hurt. What should I do?

monitor it see if it heals if you start to see it going south move it to a hospital tank to try and heal but nem feet can be tricky.
What should I do about the piece that’s still attached to the rock? It wasn’t a clean tear.

if it is still attached monitor it who knows may end up with a split, but if it lets go take it out before it nukes your tank. Also keep some carbon on the ready

Update, he ripped that piece attached to the rock off. As you can see on the right side. He’s still attached but that looks bad.

There aren’t 2 anemones though. There was a very small part of it that was attacked to the rock and I tore it on accident.

Follwing along because i just did the same exact thing while transfering everything to a larger tank. Mine was torn in half... been a week now i started with two pieces and had put them in a container on the bottom and both halves crawled out and went there seperate ways and now both have ended up right next to each other in the same cave in a 180... pretty crazy. Both still alive so well see what happens.
