I see a lot of high end Tenuis out there and they all seem to have the same color scheme. Red polyps, blue tips, green body, and pinkish highlight around the edge of the coralites. They might be a little different but for me it never warrant spending $300+. If you could only have one high end Tenuis I recommend this one.

Must have. I’m on my second or third attempt with it, this one barely hanging on.

Just picked that one up recently and have to agree. There are a ton of rainbow tenius out there but this is one of the more unique pieces that’s justifies the price tag.

It is one of the best. It is more difficult than some, IMO. ...significantly more difficult, which is why the price tag likely has not come down. I also have not seen a very similar or true "copy" like you see with some of the others where four or five different pieces all look virutally the same.

Also one of my favorites. This one sat idle for many months and is finally starting to grow some branches. I gave it higher light and it really took off

mine is kind of bland right now at around 350 par and good flow. Did yours color up slowly?
Mine bleached at 500 par. It then died. My second piece was doing great at the bottom of the tank in about 200-225 par, I then got bold and moved it up to the first LC spot, and guess what? It bleached again, but my lighting changed too, so I don’t know. I moved it to a back spot and it’s just hanging on for now.

this is my newest, third try at RMF LC, and it will remain at the bottom of the tank at 200-225+ par.

I have a piece of this and it's done nothing but sit there for most of the yr. I really like the color palette on it so it may try a second frag in a different tank.

I agree it's more sensitive than others. I believe it's the same as the RRC Mardi Gras which absolutely melted on me.

I assisted Thinh Vu from mythical corals at a coral expo here in Houston a couple weeks ago. Thinh had frags of the Mardi Gras and lucky charms right next to each other and they looked nothing alike. Mardi Gras blew the lucky charms away. That’s probably why one was $300 and the other was $850

Eh, I'd say a big chunk of the price difference is more about scarcity than the difference in pop.

The Mardi gras was nicer than the Lucky charms, but I def made sure to label the plugs.

The difference in the number of hobbyists that have grown out and fragged the RMF vs Mardi Gras is the real difference.

I was very much reminded of the Jolt vs TSA Rainbow Fusion with these.

Yeah I want both bc I know they're different, and I want one of everything. The rainbow fusion is a significantly nicer coral. But the spread in how nice each is, is dwarfed by the spread in how many frags of ea available from hobbyists.

Sorry for the detail OP. I wish mine were worth photographing right now, I'd share a pic of it instead of blowing hard.
