I have a 4 stage RODI with a water saver attachment. just got my ICP back and my silicates are high. does this mean my di resin needs to be changed or I need to add a extra stage of resin?

What is the level of silicates? Is your resin cartridge depleted? does it look yellow?

Yep, i would change that with a fresh one. What are your phosphates in your tank currently, very high or no?
nope. everything is low actually which I was suprised. BUT I just got a algae bloom in my 15 gallon so wondered if that's why

To counter the silicate issue if your PO4 is reading low but you have a lot of algae, you can run rowaphos in a reactor. But ya, at least you know the source! def replace the resin cartridge, may have to do that often. I have a 7 stage with 3 di's and the test come back zero everytime, but my city water is pretty clean, that's not the case for everyone unfortunately.

probably smart to replace sediment filter with it?

Theyre cheap enough, ya. Home Depot has 3 packs for like $10
