Considering getting one for the basement. I’d love to see what others are doing. Great chance to show off those systems :) TIA

Wow. You don’t play do you? Can I ask for an FTS? And how many gallons DT is. That looks like a serious system you’ve got there. Well done!
This setup supports my 90 gallon display and my usual, two 20 gallon QTs. Usually do a 20% water change each week on the DT. Works pretty good. Always have 35 gallons of RODI on hand and can mix up to 35 gallons of saltwater.

Awesome thanks chief. I'll have to buy a bigger one but am limited to space so these look like they will work great! Thanks again for your prompt reply...:);)

Awesome! Would love that kinda setup. I’ve seen the question asked and answered but, let me pick your brain while I’ve got you. Do you use water conditioner in your RODI water? Seems pointless but someone recommended it anyway. So now I’m confused

I am using a 100 GPD 4 stage RODI from AquaFX. The model is the Barracuda Glacial which includes the Low pressure Shutoff, Flush Valve,Pressure Gauge and dual TDS meter (I use a handheld one to check post DI filter). I fill into a 20 gal brute trashcan with a float valve shutoff (in case I forget to). My tank is a 45gal so 20 gal is about the most I would use.

No water conditioner. I'm on a rural well system without any of the additives that cities put in like chlorine or chloramines, so it has pretty low TDS to begin with. So the BRS RODI unit makes perfect RODI. At least so far :D Before you purchase one, it would make sense to get a water test of your water to see what you will have to deal with.

It's an important distinction to appreciate that first and foremost we deal with water quality. Everything else like fish, corals, macros, inverts comes second. Good stable water quality eliminates lots and lots of headaches ;)

Here's mine, started out with the base unit and added a couple more canisters since. Tapped into the water line under a basement sink with the included hardware so it's constantly connected but I've made no permanent changes that can't be undone if we move.

5 stage ro/di with co2 degasser. Also running a booster pump to get pressures to 78.

For anyone running through di resin like crazy like I was ( about 25 gallons before exhausted) I highly recommend setting up a co2 degasser.
