Does anyone successfully run at 40psi or do I need a booster?

I know it says 35psi is when it starts to not run as optimal but is 40 too close and should I bump it?

It's a 75g per day so it should be around 3 gallons an hour but it's only getting about 1.5 right now. It's also only been running for a few hours.

I would invest in a booster pump , the insufficient pressure waste water and will probably tax your DI resin more than it should normally.

I have a spectra 90 GPH 5 stage. Love it. My presser is 55 psi. I purchased a pump to get to 80 psi to maximize efficiency. Ya, cost a little upfront but once hooked up was an outstanding purchase. Less time to fill my two tanks (fresh ro/di and saltwater mixing tank). Glad I did it. You should get the recommended psi pump for your system. Great Christmas present.
