I am hoping that someone here might be familiar with the Aqua Medic Platinum Line Plus RO system as I am having some issues with its ability to actually filter my water. After replacing the membrane and resin, and flushing for two hours, my TDS is flashing 99.
The system is one I took over recently and was set up a year ago, when I took it over I noticed that the TDS meter was flashing 99, indicating an issue with the membrane and/or resin. When I opened up the system to change the membrane there was no membrane ever placed in it. I replaced the resin and installed a membrane today, the membrane that came with the system and a color-indicator resin filter, and ran the water for two hours as instructed in the manual. I initially the TDS indicator showed 0-03, and I thought I was good to go once the flush was done, but after two hours the TDS is flashing 99 once again. I have checked that everything is installed and seated properly, and the only issues I found were low PSI and low water water output after the initial flush when turning on the system. Ive attached photos of everything, if anyone has and idea, I've exhausted all I know!
The output water is reading at Phosphate of 5ppm, and Nitrates of ~2-3ppm, and the input is hooked up to a well pressured tap water line. I did take off the flush valve and it doesn't seem to have any build up in/on it, and the color indicator resin was fully blue was it was installed just a few hours before these photos.

Suspect membrane o ring is not seated correctly or there is a warp in the housing causing mixing of waste and purify water. Also looks like booster pump is not working. I would first try reseating membrane and directly measuring tds after membrane using a manual tds meter.

Thank you! I did end up re-seating the membrane just in case and it seems to have helped the 1:1 flow issues. For some unknown reason the pressure manged to fix itself before I did this, and has stayed at an expected PSI range. The TDS display is still flashing 99 when the system is started up, but at some point over the 2 hours it takes to fill my reservoir the reading drops to 04, I am going to try to get a manual TDS meter to check this, in case it is an issue with the inline meter.
