I have a 65gal tank so i do small water changes weekly so can I buy the RO water from the water company and mix my salt with it.l can get 5gal for a $1.27 at the water company. the LFS it's $1.27 a gal with there salt in it. Need help understand the difference

Either option is just as viable IMO, so I would choose what you would prefer to do. Obviously the RO water is the cheaper option but you will have to buy your own salt on top which can be expensive. Buying an RO unit will save you money in the long term, just something to consider. If you buy pre-mixed salt water from your LFS it's worth asking about the kind of salt that they use.

They use instant ocean the orange color box but i bought my tank from a guy and he gave me a box of salt of instant ocean salt enough for 220gal tank that's why i was thinking about using the ro water from the water company just wanted to start everything right

To really start things right--you want RODI water--not RO water, which is drinking water and still has dissolved minerals in it. How much is RODI water at your LFS?
