Loving my new rock flower. Lets see those rocks!
@Dsnakes this is funny, we have the same RFAs
How do you get your orange one to behave? Mine strolled off to the back of a top rock. I can't get any better pictures of it. I just have the one original
Yours look great!
Thanks so do yours. I have one more, and lost one. The other one I still have is behind a rock that’s all but impossible to see. The orange one I lost kept moving around until it got picked up by the current and landed on a Heliofungia.
I want more
Our 4 babies!!!
These all look great. Our local stores don't sell them except for army green ones. Frag swaps or online are the only options.
This is a photo from January? I think.
Largest one is about 4.5" across. Mainly rock anemone tank but it does have other assorted stuff in there as you can see.
kush corals is the place for rock flowers
I've had mine for a about 1.5 years now. It was the size of silver dollar and now the size of a softball. I never direct feed, just what it gets from broadcast feeding.
Do you ever witness them spawning?
That is a sight! Incredible!
Yes, I do.
I have a batch of babies at this moment from a spawning event early in December. They are about 1-2 weeks old. I have about 70 that I can visibly see.
Colors range from Fluorescent Orange, Fluorescent Light Orange, Fluorescent Red, Dark Red, Fluorescent Green, Dark Green, White and even a few plain brown/colorless ones.
Here is a very rare photo of a female gathering her eggs during a spawn and then pushing them up. You see a lot of videos of males and etc during spawning but this what females do.
Very cool! Thanks for sharing
Nice rock nems guys!
Nice! Did you stock all of them, or are they breeding?
Sorry, missed the description about spawning above....
This is awesome!
Here is mine
