Very pretty fish, love the red and the round spots he has on the top.

Is this a blenny ? Or different kind of fish?
Its common name is butter fish due to its being so slippery when you try and pick them up . The proper name is A Gunnal fish
They are shy until they settle in. I like them so much because they are peaceful

Funny critters love them how they climb about . I have a shrimp they fight over food then the next minute the shrimp is getting a free ride on top of the hermit and then they are friends
 
I have a place on the beach on the north carolina coast... I want to start a 20 gal native with a sea urchin, hermits, small crabs, blennies, and whatever else I can find. I know we have eels, rays, sergeant majors, triggers and everything in between

Yep sounds good critters and blennies are a good choice
 
I might vlog it and put it on YT. Just an idea for now though
Set it up and get enjoyment out of it I’ve gone fully native I don’t have any tropical marine any more. Love my native 100% natural even my seaweed is dosed with kelp fertiliser I make my own plankton and hatch my own baby brine shrimp
