Okay so tank is doing great I actually have SPS growing steadily and corals overall seem happy!

Only one downside I have this algae buildup on the rocks and certain sections of my sand (it’s not a flow issue I’m certain). I’ve tried to scrub with a brush and it looks clean but is right back. It’s not cyano or Dino’s. It doesn’t just blow off the rocks either.

My previous cleanup crew was
2 trochus
6 ceriths
5 hermits

I just added more cleanup yesterday in hopes it will clear up.

New cuc is
5 trochus
3 ceriths (some died)
3 astera
4 hermits

Will they clean this up or should I add some more or something else?

Pics of algae and a section of the tank.

I have not but I also don’t want an urchin. Honestly I haven’t tried anything besides what I just added which was 3 trochus, 3 astrea and 2 nassarius snails. Only time added cuc besides when tank was brand new.
