Has anyone setup and RODI/ drinking water system to their fridge and used the smart buddy booster pump? Need some guidance on how to hook everything up. Also, what is best practice as far as running this system so that drinking water is always available? Do you just leave the RO portion open all the time? How do you prevent TDS creep and flush the membrane in a setup like this?

I have my ro hooked to a faucet for washing tank items, so it’s kind of the same setup you are looking for. I just have it teed after the ro and run it for like 1 min into a bucket to flush the system. Then I leave it go till it fills my reservoir tank, I think it’s 2 gal and that usually lasts me like a 2 weeks. You may want the tee and valves after your ro and before di for drinking water. I’ll post a pic of my setup in a min.

I also have a manual flush installed on mine, I think it’s in the right spot. 61F4D12D-5DA0-42C9-8349-B18945466199.jpeg D310C1AC-DDBA-4E0E-AB90-CD12B2A0E7F7.jpeg
