I thought when i first used this that the DI chamber filled with water before good water came out. Ive only used it for filling my 53g tank. That was 2 weeks ago. I flushed the RO membrane like shown on videos before and after use but now that ive come back im getting way less good water and that chamber isnt filling so im worried the water coming out isnt good. I plan on changing out filters early but what did i do wrong?
The white line is where the water level is sitting at and its on and producing

The DI doesn’t always fill, there will always be air trapped. You can loosen it to let the air out but when you shut it off air will get back in. The water is perfectly fine. I had this concern when I first installed mine but after researching other forums I found out that its is perfectly normal. The water flows up from within the di and out to your bucket. The water on outside of the Di has no effect on the quality. My last Di chamber fills to around the same as yours and the water tests 0.
