Will the 4 stage from brs be enough for Murfreesboro city water?

I'm sure it will be. Of course a lot of that can be determined on what the TDS is before you start. I would use the membrane a 5 micro , 1 micron and DI chamber to polish it off. If that's not good enough Id install a second DI chamber that's how Ive ran mine in the past with success. Shoot me a PM with questions.

4 stage works well for me in Mt Juliet, but my input TDS is ~ 100-110. What's your TDS at the tap there?

I wish I knew, no TDS meter. I would assume fairly similar to yours since our water comes from the same shed but that's just an assumption.

You'd think, but it can vary from system to system. Your local water utility should have that info online. I don't remember the cost, but my hand held Hannah TDS meter wasn't expensive.
