Rotten watermelon chalice

This is probably my favorite chalice out of all of them. The problem is I can't get it to the color it needs to be! All of my chalices are washed out looking (except a super bright pink one), and all are on the sand bed. What's the secret to these things!

Maybe a lack of nutrients. Not certain though. We need a lot more to go on than washed out chalices. It could be a couple of things. Do you have a run down of your parameters, lights being used, how much you feed what are you feeding water temp etc. All these things and more help play a roll in color.

Assuming your water parameters are in order, then it's either too much light and/or too little nutrients.
