Hello control freaks!

I think i'm finally ready to setup my APEX system I purchased over 7 years ago 😳. A huge bump in my reefing journey kept me from initially setting it up when it was new. Now that I have rebuilt my system and have livestock again... I'd really like to have some automation set in place with a controller. My question is, what are your thoughts on the probes? Everything is brand new in the box and Ive only slid the packaging out to see the contents. I was a bit intimidated and then closed the box. The probes are my biggest concern...

Which probes did it include? Them temp probe will be fine. If the PH is still wet I'd calibrate it and try it.
Temp, salinity, ORP, and PH i believe came with it. All the probes still have the plastic/rubber protector on them but i wasnt sure if they contained fluid at a quick glance.

I know the PH probe contains fluid, and if it is not present you could TRY to calibrate it, but I'd probably just purchase a new one.

I am unsure about the others.

If it is truly that old from the original purchase date then the probes, pH and ORP, are the concern. If they are dried then they will need to be replaced as noted above. In my opinion. Temp probe will be ok.

Go slow as you will need to update the AOS. So bring it online first, do the update, then attach the next component. Repeat.
