I got home from lunch today and cracked the door to take a peek at the fish, and he seemed to be fine swimming around the tank, but as soon as I walked up to the tank he swam to the corner and acts like hes injured/dying. Is my fish just being a drama queen?

Yes; grammas will often act very uncomfortable in QT. Similar to wrasses.

Update on the fish, it's been swimming around fine, but still hides when I walk up. Good thing is it eats when I leave the room. Will be transferring it today for TTM.

Fish is now in the display tank and seems to be very happy. Went through full TTM using 5 gallon buckets, and observed him for a few days while I treated him with Prazipro. Never saw any signs of disease, I believe the fish was just stressed.
